A MERICA MYSTERY PART 1
I am having my friends over so we can show each other our Easter baskets.I am going to give each of my friends one of my homemade Easter cookies.I hope that it is not going to rain today because I want to go to the park with my friends.Some of my friends don't get along very well I hope that they will not start to fight.Last time they had a fight they didn't speak to each other for two weeks.The two of my friends that always fight is Rachel and Kate.Beth and I always try to stop the fight,but it never ends well.Deep down I know that they love to be friends.
''Honey,I am going to take your sisters to get some ice cream,are you okay home alone with your friends?''Mama said to me.''Yes.''I yelled to my Mama.I watched my Mama leave with my sisters.As my Mama left my friend Beth pulled in.''Beth!''I yelled.''Hi,Merica!''Beth said.We gave each other a BIG hug.''Who is coming?''Beth asked.''Rachel and Kate.''I anwered.''Oh no,I hope that they don't start to fight."Beth said."I thought of the same thing."I said.I can see the worried face on Beth.Beth hates when people fight,I don't blame her."I made Easter cookies."I said trying to change the subject."Cool."Beth said."Beth I know that they aren't going to fight today,because today is about us having fun.''I said with a smile.Beth back at me.DING DONG,the door bell rang,it was Rachel and Kate were at the door."We better get the door before they start to fight out there."Beth said.I went to go open the door and I them talking and it didn't sound to nice.I opened the door and at the same time they said"Why is she here!"."I thought that we all can have all great time."I said."Well you thought wrong."Rachel said.I looked at Beth and Beth looked at me,I new we were thinking the same thing."I made Easter cookies."I said.We all sat down and ate our cookies."Lets show each other our Easter baskets.''I said."I'll go first."Kate said with a attitude."No I'll go first!''Kate said with a BIGGER attitude.''I will go first.''Beth said.Beth showed us her basket and so on.
"I am home.''Mama said.Now we can go in in the park,I hope that Rachel and Kate will stop fighting.I know that Beth is not going to enjoy the day."Lets go to the park before it rains,I heared on the raido that it is going to rain this afternoon.''Mama said.''well what are we waiting for.''Beth said.
We walked to the park with Mama.I can hear thunder in the distance,but it will not rain for a least for a hour,I think.''Look,an ice cream truck!''Kate yelled."Lets race there!"Rachel yelled.We raced there and then Beth stopped."What is wrong?I asked."Looked."Beth said.I saw Kate and Rachel side by side in the race,I new that they were taking it way to serious.Then Kate and Rachel started pushing each other.I heard thunder in the distacnce again."Come on lets go and order our ice cream." I said to Beth.We went and ordered our ice cream and sat on the park bench."So,Kate how did you like my basket." Rachel said."It was okay,your basket had way to much stuff in it.It is Easter not Chirstmas.''Kate said."I thought that all of our baskets of were great."Beth said."Merica it is starting to rain,come lets go.''Mama said.''Come on lets go,I am half way there!''Kate yelled.it started to pouring and lighting out.I am so glad that I didn't bring my Easter basket."Wait,slow down Kate!"We yelled.We couldn't see Kate any more.
When we got in the house Kate said ''Rachel's basket is gone!''!Lighting striked and the power went out!
